How was born the #PrintempsduGout?
Jules always had a vision: a large market where “everything is fresh and beautiful, just like the name Au Printemps (meaning ‘In Spring’). 150 years later, the spirit of this genius – one of the inventors of modern commerce – can still be felt at Printemps Haussmann.
10 January, mark the date in your diaries #Foodistas
A warm welcome to all the gourmands and gourmets, the picky eaters and those with refined palates, the established gastronomes and those in the making. We travelled all across France, meeting with fascinating, passionate artisans, in order to share with you the brand new and the essential, the delicacies and the delectable. Fresh, must-have fine food products, our only guide: love for local French specialties and authentic flavor. Give into temptation and let yourself be guided by each and every one of your senses. Welcome to Printemps du Goût.
Everyone to the table on 10 January! Printemps du Goût is coming to the two upper floors of the Men’s Store. These areas have been entirely redesigned for selling food and replace the open kitchens in the staff canteen dating from the beginning of the century.
7th floor, L’Épicerie Fine, work up an appetite browsing
The “Fine Foods” section, otherwise known as the best artisanal French produce, spread over 900 m². Among the iconic products on offer are those from the Maison du Chocolat, in addition to Maison Balme truffles, Byzance caviar and smoked salmon, Dubernet foie gras and more.
Committed to delighting all the Foodistas in attendance is the Juicerie (health juices), Le Palais des Thés and Lomi coffee roasters.
Come and browse all the 100% French product families: jams and honeys, sweets and chocolates, meats, seafood, crisps and vegetable crisps, soups and sauces, breakfast and cakes, oils and vinegars, salt, pepper and spices, mustards and confits, sugars, teas and coffees.
8th Floor, La Place du Marché The Seasonal Products
“The Market Place” or unique living space bringing together specialities, tastings, workshops and opportunities to meet producers, artisans, winemakers and chefs from France.
In store, you will also find four of the most creative chefs and artisans around: Akrame Benallal, Gontran Cherrier, Laurent Dubois and Christophe Michalak.
