We no longer present Massimo Mori, the most exquisite and refined Italian host in the capital, also owner of the Mori Venice Bar in the Bourse district. And it is with pleasure and gluttony that we rediscovered its food in shop installed in the Emporio Armani shop of the Boulevard Saint-Germain, next to the Lipp brewery and facing the Deux Magots and Café de Flore, which is one Comeback after important work. The house, redesigned in a luxurious and minimalist style, transforms its gourmet restaurant from seventy to thirty, to enlarge the kitchens while improving the comfort of the room. She also took the opportunity to join the services of Chief Massimo Tringali, formerly second of Fabio Bragagnolo, doubly starred at the Casadelmar of Porto Vecchio. And on the new menu, made from the best transalpine producers, the delicate vitello tonnato prepared with beef bue grasso from Piedmont (32 €), the exceptional ham culatello di zibello by Massimo Spigaroli (32 €), the remarkable tagliatelle with the white truffle of Alba (75 €), the rare suckling pig Zavoli with ash oil (38 €), or tiramisu with the grappa (18 €). An ideal excuse to give in to the charm of the Discovery menu (90 € for two entrees, three courses and one dessert), which will be accompanied by an excellent Tasca de Almerita white Sicily 2013, with delicate citrus flavors (45 € a bottle, 11 € the glass). For a more informal gourmet break, we prefer to stay at the Armani Caffé on the ground floor, open non-stop and 7/7 from 9 am to midnight (about 50 € à la carte).
